Oktavia Zyta Herbst graduated as a costume designer with distinction from Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom. During her studies, she gained experience through internships at various theatres, including the Royal Opera House in London.
Since 2020, she has worked as a costume design assistant at the Theater und Orchester Heidelberg and the Oper Frankfurt. During this time, she was able to realise her own costume designs on stage in Opra and Musical Theatre, Theatre and Concerts.
