Lisa Bless

Lisa Bless is a dancer and choreographer who was born in Heidelberg and currently lives in both Heidelberg and Brussels. She studied contemporary dance at the University of Music and Dance Cologne and at Performact in Portugal. As a freelance dancer, she has worked with the Belgian dance company Sandman/Sabine Molenaar and with La Trottier Dance in Mannheim, among others. Her own choreographic works have been presented at numerous national and international dance festivals.
The video version of her solo piece » (in)endlichkeit« is part of the exhibition »Women’s Bodies – Perspectives on the Feminine from Albrecht Dürer to Cindy Sherman« at the Kurpfälzisches Museum Heidelberg. In 2021, she co-created the dance film »OXY-GEN« with the Indian dancer Pankaj Sihag. The film was livestreamed for the first time in India in 2022. During the 2022/2023 season, she appeared as a guest dancer with the Dance Theatre Heidelberg. In the current season, she can be seen in the productions »Das hässliche Entlein« and  »Theatertour durch 100 Jahre Schlossfestspiele Heidelberg«
