Luzie Nehls-Neuhaus first completed an apprenticeship as a ladies' tailor and studied to become a fashion designer. She then studied costume in the class of Prof. Heide Kastler at the Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts, where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in 2020. In 2021 she designed the costume for the dance solo "32GG" at the Hanover State Opera, which was also shown at TanzZeit Braunschweig in the same year and won the production prize of the Hanover State Opera and the Chemnitz Theatre at the 36th Hanover International Competition for Choreography 2022. Luzie Nehls-Neuhaus works as a costume designer at the Landestheater Detmold, among others for the operetta »Frau Luna« directed by Katja Wolff.
