Mirjam Loibl

Mirjam Loibl works as a freelance director.
She studied social anthropology and political science in Bern and was assistant director at the Residenztheater München. During this time she staged the series »Nachts und Nebenbei«.
Mirjam Loibl staged »Pussy Sludge« by Gracie Gardner and »Der Bau« after Franz Kafka at the Münchner Volkstheater. Other works have been seen at the Staatstheater Nürnberg and the Residenztheater München, among others.
In the 2023/24 season Mirjam Loibl will direct »Woyzeck | Marie« after Georg Büchner at the Staatstheater Mainz and »Supergute Tage oder Die sonderbare Welt des Christopher Boone« by Simon Stephens at the Staatstheater Braunschweig.
She also teaches regularly at the Mozarteum Salzburg and at the Theaterakademie August Everding.
»Draußen vor der Tür« is Mirjam Loibl's first work at the Theater und Orchester Heidelberg.
