City tour through the queer old town and its history

Queer life was and is invisible to many people. And yet, in a city as vibrant as Heidelberg, it is everywhere. On a tour through the old town of the »Rainbow City of Heidelberg« (Heidelberg has been a member of the »Rainbow Cities« since September 2020), we will follow in the footsteps of former Heidelberg residents and the places where the local community was formed together with long-time tour guide Steffen Schmid. We will look at Heidelberg's most important sights from the perspective of queer life, but also visit some of the city's unknown places that have a special connection to queer issues. The tour is intended to be thought-provoking and to remind us of fates, many of which have been forgotten. However, it also tells of humorous, colourful and encouraging stories of queer life in Heidelberg!
