In cooperation with the Gloria arthouse cinema, we show a wide variety of films on the theme of dance in this series of events. From feature film productions to filmed stage plays to dance science documentaries - we want to bring the medium of film and dance together and make the most diverse facets of dance accessible to our audience.

Im Mai 2024 begibt sich das Dance Theatre Heidelberg (DTH) auf Reisen – nach Taiwan!

Mit Iván Pérez’ Tanzstück »Firebird & Rite of Spring« reist das DTH nach Taipei und sorgt dabei nicht nur für ein fulminantes Gastspiel im Rahmen des Taiwan International Festival of the Arts, sondern auch für eine internationale Kooperation.

Anlässlich dessen präsentieren wir in Kooperation mit dem Gloria-Kino Heidelberg die Aufzeichnung des Tanzstücks »Firebird & Rite of Spring« (2022) in einer Sonntagsmatinee. Die beiden ursprünglichen Ballette sind 1910 und 1913 in Paris mit neuer Musik von Igor Stravinsky uraufgeführt worden und markieren Wendepunkte des Tanzes. Lassen Sie uns gemeinsam in die Tanzgeschichte eintauchen und die Version von Iván Pérez genießen.
