If you’re looking to get physically active, the DTH workshops are just the right place for you. The dancers and friends of Dance Theatre Heidelberg guide participants through playful exercises involving the body and space to sharpen perception, while also teaching specific movement styles, short choreographies, and dance sequences.

The workshop is suitable for anyone who enjoys moving—no prior experience is necessary. The workshop will be held in English. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring something to drink.

After eight years at Theater und Orchester Heidelberg, Dance Theatre Heidelberg is bidding farewell. At an open DTH workshop in the garden of the Heidelberg Kunstverein, together with the loyal DTH community and all dance enthusiasts, DTH will come into motion one last time and bid farewell through a collective dance.

Fancy trying your hand at dancing and discovering new moves? In this workshop, you’ll have the chance to develop your skills and learn a varied choreography together with others.

As friends of the DTH community, Emilia Auer and Nora Kleinstück – two young up-and-coming dancers from the Haus der Jugend Heidelberg – invite you to dive into the world of dance with them. Their choreography combines elements of contemporary, jazz and commercial dance, offering exciting insights into different styles.

The workshop is particularly aimed at beginners who are open to new experiences and enjoy moving – no prior experience is required.

Participation is free of charge and the workshop will be held in German. As places are limited, please register in advance by emailing Pascal.Sangl@Heidelberg.de
