Camilla Hägebarth

Camilla Hägebarth is a freelance stage and costume designer. She studied stage and film design at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and scenography at the Norwegian Theatre Academy. Her work has been featured at Volkstheater Wien, Bregenz Festival, Vereinigte Bühnen Bozen, Münchner Volkstheater, Schauspielhaus Leipzig, Schauspiel Dortmund and Staatstheater Darmstadt, among others.  For her stage design for »Three Sisters« at Staatstheater Darmstadt, she was named best young artist in the critics' poll of the trade journal Theater Heute 2021. In 2024, the production »Nestbeschmutzung«, for which she was responsible for the stage and costumes, was awarded the Nestroy Prize in the category of best off-production at the Kosmos Theater Wien. For their production »Nora« at Theater und Orchester Heidelberg, Jana Vetten received the DER FAUST theatre award in the category of directing in 2025. Camilla Hägebarth has a long-standing collaboration with Jana Vetten. At Theater und Orchester Heidelberg, Camilla Hägebarth is designing the set for »We Are Family« in the 2025/26 season, also directed by Jana Vetten.
