Tim Knieps (he/him) was born in Wermelskirchen in 1998 and grew up in Hückeswagen. He gained his first theatre experience in 2018 in the Hamburg production of »Fame: The Musical« directed by Felix Loewy.
In 2020, he began his acting studies at the Bern University of the Arts, which he completed in 2024 with a Master of Arts.
In the Spielzeit 2022/23, Tim Knieps was part of the Bern Drama Studio and performed under the direction of Armin Petras in »Die Schwarze Spinne« and in »Camilla oder das Zeitalter der Vampire« under the direction of Roger Vontobel. Tim Knieps first appeared at the Junges Theater Heidelberg in the production »Die rote Zora« (The Red Zora), directed by Natascha Kalmbach, and has been a permanent member of the ensemble since the season 2024/25.
