Sven Stratmann (AQUIET) works in the fields of directing, video editing/VFX, animation and video art. In addition, he has realised and co-designed various projects in which video projections were used in combination with stage sets or installations.
Artistic collaborations have led him to the Theater Münster, Staaatstheater Kassel, Staatstheater Oldenburg, Theater und Orchester Heidelberg, Duisburg Akzente, international Flurstücke festival, the Kulturrucksack NRW, Stummfilmfestival Düsseldorf, LWL Museum für Kunst und Kultur Münster and the Filmwerkstatt Münster, among others.
He is co-founder of the artist group M.O.M. (Morons of Motion), which was founded in 2015 and carries out various multimedia art projects (e.g. TRACELAND*). In addition, he is listed as a visual artist with the label Average Negativ (Berlin). In recent years he has organised or co-organised various cultural events. These include, for example, the RESET art and culture festival, the regular short film night Slimfilms, the video art exhibition »Times are us« at the AZKM, the audiovisual concert series AV-PICKNICK and the Auf weiter Flur festival.
