Sandra Kornmeier (*1986) has been deputy artistic director and responsible for international management at the Theater und Orchester Heidelberg since the 2018/19 season.
Previously, she was responsible for four seasons (8/2014 to 8/2018) at the Staatstheater Darmstadt as a scheduler and production manager for the theatre and dance sections.
Parallel to her Master's thesis, she established a position for the audience development department for the cultural enterprise of the city of Mülheim an der Ruhr.
While studying Theatre Studies and Oriental Studies at the Ruhr-Universtität Bochum (Master of Arts 7/2014), she already worked for four years as a seasonal employee at the Ruhrtriennale at the artistic administration office and as production manager for the concert series.
Sandra Kornmeier had her first formative experience in theatre as a guest student and assistant director at the Theater an der Ruhr under the direction of Roberto Ciulli. In the 2006/07 season, she was able to take part in the theatre's Germany-wide and international tours there and thus got to know a wide range of theatre aesthetics.
