Nora Kirschmeier

Nora Kirschmeier was born in Bergisch Gladbach in 1995. After training as a Goldsmith, she studied jewellery at the Hochschule Pforzheim from 2017 to 2021, where she placed her artistic focus on the relationship between body and space. Her works have been exhibited at the Salone del Mobile. Milano. In the 2020/2021 season, she accompanied the dance production »Four Seasons« by Guido Markowitz with the Ballett Theater Pforzheim photographically; the works were exhibited at the Schmuckmuseum Pforzheim. In summer 2020, she assisted Katharina Andes in the set design for »Insights. A Theatre Walk« at the Theater und Orchester Heidelberg. This was followed by a set design assistance with Marco Richtsfeld for the multiple award-winning short film »HOME OF ONE‘S OWN« by Welf Reinhart. Kirschmeier was assistant director for the musical »Titanic« directed by Chris Murray and Janne Geest at the Theater Pforzheim. Most recently, her work was shown in the exhibition »DYSMORPHIA« at the Künstlergilde Buslat.

Since the 2021/2022 season, she has been a permanent costume design assistant at the Theater und Orchester Heidelberg. In the 2022/2023 season, she created the costume design for the world premieres of »Das Stillleben« by Caren Jeß (director: Tuğsal Moğul) and »Über Leben als Ukrainer*in« by Anastasiia Kosodii (director: Georg Zahn). In 2023/24 she will design the costumes for »Der Trafikant« after Robert Seethaler.
