Charlotte Katzer

Charlotte Katzer was born in Ilmenau and grew up near Wiesbaden. After studying musicals at the Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen, she was engaged as Rosalia in »West Side Story« at the Theater Dortmund in the 2018/19 season and appeared in the successful production of »Elisabeth« at Vereinigte Bühnen Wien in summer 2019. As a permanent ensemble member of the musical division, Charlotte appeared on stage in the 2019/20 season at the Theater für Niedersachsen in Hildesheim as Maureen in »RENT« and Marta in »Company«, among others. In the 2021/22 season she embodied the double role Kate Monster / Lucy the Slut in the cult musical »Avenue Q« at the Musiktheater im Revier in Gelsenkirchen and returned to Hildesheim as Lauren in Kinky Boots. Shortly afterwards she enjoyed great success as the Conférencier in »Cabaret« at the Staatstheater Wiesbaden. With the role of Betty Schaefer (»Sunset Boulevard«) Charlotte Katzer debuts at the Theater und Orchester Heidelberg in 2023.
