Born in Spreewald, she studied both popular music and classical singing in Rostock (HMT) and London (Trinity Laban) and completed her master's degree in musical theatre at the Fontys Hoogeschool voor de Kunsten in Tilburg with distinction in 2021.
Already during her training she played Crissy in »Hair« (Volkstheater Rostock), Luisa in »Zorro« (Theater La Poste, Visp) and embodied the character of Ewa Steiner in the world premiere »Mädchenorchester« at Heimathafen Neukölln as well as at Kulturzentrum Auschwitz.
After her training, the »Schmidt Parade« took her to the Schmidt Theatre on Hamburg's Reeperbahn for the first time, where she last appeared as Lisa in the musical »Heiße Ecke«. She alternated the title role at the Theater St Gallen in »Lady Bess« and was heard as Cover Anne Boleyn. Last summer Anna Langner sang Maria in »West Side Story« for the first time at the Felsenbühne in Rathen (Landesbühnen Sachsen), where she will return this season.
In addition to her work on the musical stage, she investigates the music of ostracised composers with her duo HAQOLOT and gives it a hearing again with original reports and new arrangements. For this she was awarded the Dick Kattenburg Special Prize at the Festival for Ostracised Music in Schwerin.
