Felix Schrödinger

Felix Schrödinger first studied singing with Prof. Fenna Kügel-Seifried at the Nuremberg University of Music. Parallel to his singing activities, he turned to directing and began working as an assistant director at the Nuremberg University of Music. After numerous guest appearances, which led him to work with Barrie Kosky at the Komische Oper, among others, he began to realise his own independent projects such as »Chanson - Geschichte eines Lebens« (Chanson - Story of a Life), which had its world premiere at Yip Yap Munich. Felix Schrödinger was engaged as assistant director and evening director at the Oldenburg State Theatre, where he realised his own projects from the beginning. His productions in Oldenburg include »Scary Opera 1 & 2«, Donizetti's »La Fille du Régiment«, »Die Comedian Harmonists« and Offenbach's »Orpheus in der Unterwelt«.
At the Osnabrück Theatre he staged Handel's »Orlando« and Suppé's »Die schöne Galathee«. From 2019-2022 he was engaged as assistant director and evening director at the Staatsoper Hannover, where he has now taken over the artistic direction and direction for the opera ball there. In June 2023 he made his debut at the Lucerne Theatre with his »Revue des Folie - Doktor Ox«, an open-air Offenbachiade, for which he is responsible for both the direction and the setting.
