The second Youth Concert of the 2023/24 season will continue to put the spotlight on different groups of instruments. This concert for kids of 12 and above will highlight a group of instruments that rarely has a chance to perform solo outside the orchestra: Percussion. But what instruments actually belong to that group? How do you play these different instruments? Are there percussion instruments that produce more than just noise? And what does it feel like to play several instruments at a time? Under the Musical Director and interim General Music Director Dietger Holm, our percussion players will try to answer these questions.
