Tobias Neumann

Tobias Neumann was born in Parchim/Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in 1993. As part of FREIGEISTER Theater- und Kulturkollektiv e.V. under the direction of Christof Lange, he and his colleagues succeeded in temporarily reviving the former Theater Rostock in the city harbour under the new name Schauwerk in 2014. At the same time, Tobias Neumann studied speech therapy and has worked in this role in care facilities in Berlin since 2016.
He has been studying acting at the Akademie für Darstellende Kunst Baden-Württemberg since 2020. 
Here he worked with Benedikt Haubrich, Antje Siebers, Caspar Weimann and Anne Greta Weber, among others. Kai Ivo Baulitz, Amélie Tambour and Clemens Schick played a key role in his film acting training. In 2023, Tobias Neumann received the Germany Scholarship for his regular readings in Ludwigsburg retirement homes.
In 2024, he can be seen at the Theater und Orchester Heidelberg in "Die Rote Zora", directed by Natascha Kalmbach at the Heidelberger Schlossfestspiele. In the 24/25 season, Tobias Neumann will take up his first engagement at the Hessisches Landestheater Marburg.
