Sheila Bluhm, née Eckhardt, was born in 1989 and studied at Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst Stuttgart from 2011 to 2014. As a child and teenager she already took part in various theatre productions, for example as Little Cosette in »Les Misérables« at Theater am Marientor or as Isa in »Journey through the Starry World« at Essen Lichtburg (Folkwang). During her acting training, she also appeared in theatre and television productions and made regular guest appearances at the Württembergische Landesbühne Esslingen. Sheila Bluhm has been a permanent ensemble member at Theater und Orchester Heidelberg since the beginning of the 2015/16 season. Important roles in Heidelberg included Teiresias and Jokaste in »Oedipus«, Isa in »Tschick«, Hermia in »A Midsummer Night's Dream« and participation in the international co-production »La flauta magica«.
