Steffen Gangloff

Steffen Gangloff has been a permanent member of the ensemble at Theater & Orchester Heidelberg since the 2011/12 season.

He was born in 1975 and studied at Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock. This was followed by engagements at the Kammerspiele in Magdeburg, the Grillo Theater in Essen and the Theater Osnabrück. He has worked with directors such as Holger Schultze, Hans-Ulrich Becker, Ingo Berk, Victor Bodo, Jürgen Bosse, Cornelia Crombholz, Johann Kresnik, Elias Perrig, Philip Tiedemann, Antoine Uitdehaag and Milan Peschel.

At Theater & Orchester Heidelberg, his roles have included Orlando in »As You Like It«, the Master of Ceremonies in »Cabaret«, Guy Montag in »Fahrenheit 451«, Gottlieb Biedermann in »Biedermann and the Arsonists«, Zettel in »A Midsummer Night’s Dream«, as well as judge Adam in »The Broken Jug« and Mastorna in »The Journey of G. Mastorna«. At the Heidelberger Schlossfestspiele, Steffen Gangloff appeared, among other roles, as Truffaldino in »The Servant of Two Masters« and in the title roles of »The Count of Monte Cristo« and »Cyrano de Bergerac«.
