Roland Kluttig

Roland Kluttig was chief conductor at the Oper Graz from 2020 to 2023 and previously GMD at the Landestheater Coburg for 10 years. Furthermore, he has a long-standing collaboration with the Stuttgarter Staatsoper.
His most important productions in recent years were »Salome« in Stuttgart, »Ariane et Barbe Bleue«, »Król Roger«, »Morgen und Abend« and »Katja Kabanova« in Graz, as well as Wagner's »Parsifal« and »Lohengrin« in Coburg. He debuted Morton Feldman's »Neither« with the RSO Vienna at the Salzburg Festival in 2021.
Roland Kluttig has also conducted at the Oper Frankfurt, Hamburger Staatspper, Oper Leipzig, Opera du Rhin, Opera Nice and the Swedish Norrlandsoperan, among others. In concert, he has been a frequent guest with the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, London Philharmonia, Seoul Philharmonic, Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, hr Sinfonieorchester and many other European orchestras.
Immediately after his studies in Dresden, Kluttig appeared as a conductor of New Music and regularly collaborates with many important European ensembles and composers such as Helmut Lachenmann or Unsuk Chin
