Jacob Bussmann

Jacob Bussmann lives in Frankfurt on the Main and works as a musician and performer. He studied piano at the Musikhochschule Frankfurt and the Sibelius Academy Helsinki as well as applied theatre studies in Gießen. He collaborates in various constellations on theatrical, performative and musical projects in production structures of the independent scene. Productions in which he has participated have been invited to the Körber Studio Junge Regie (Hamburg), Bâtard Festival (Amsterdam), Fast Forward (Dresden) and Impulse Festival (Düsseldorf), among others. He has composed stage music for municipal theatres in Karlsruhe, Dresden and Vienna, among others, and is active as a musical director. In 2010, he arranged and directed the chanson evening »Jacques Brel - On n'oublie rien« at the Heidelberg Theatre.
