Hélène Walter

A graduate of the Swiss conservatories of Lausanne and Zurich, Hélène Walter has won seven international singing competitions (Lousada 2022, SOI 2022 and 2021, Kattenburg 2017, Mirabent I Magrans 2017, Clermont-Ferrand 2015 and Mâcon 2014). She sings on the stages of the Paris Philarmonie and the Champs-Elysées Theatre, the Budapest Müpa and the Palau de la musica in Barcelona, and works with conductors such as Marc Minkowski, Pierre Bleuse, François-Xavier Roth, Lucie Leguay, Corrado Rovaris, Ton Koopman and Raphaël Pichon. On stage she is Pamina (»The Magic Flute«), Sandrina (»La finta giardiniera«), la Contessa (»Le Nozze di Figaro«), La Voix huamine (»Poulenc«) and Mélisande (»Pelléas et Mélisande«). The church and concert repertoire is also close to her heart. She sings Bach's Mass in B minor, Christmas and Easter Oratorios, St. Matthew and St. John Passions, among others. She has tackled a wide range of repertoire, performing Baroque, Classical, Romantic or contemporary music with Les Musiciens du Louvre, I Solisti Veneti, Spirito, the Basel Chamber Orchestra, Ensemble Intercontemporain and Pygmalion. She made her debut in 2022 in Pierrot Lunaire with the EOC Orchestra conducted by Bruno Mantovani.She made two first recordings at the prestigious Château de Versailles with the Chapelle Harmonique and more recently with the Chapelle Rhénane. She has had the privilege of honing her skills with great artists such as Teresa Berganza, Alessandra Rossi, Raul Gimenez and Helmut Deutsch.
