Sabrina Stein

Sabrina Stein studied musical theatre at the Bird College of Theatre Arts and Dance in London and dance at the Alvin Ailey Dance School in New York. She currently resides on the Bergstraße.
At the Nationaltheater Mannheim, she performed as part of the ensemble and as Dance Captain in the productions »Crazy For You«, »Anything Goes«, and »My Fair Lady«. She has a long-standing collaboration with Theater Heidelberg, where she appeared at the Heidelberger Schlossfestspiele in the productions »Rocky Horror Show« and »Im weißen Rössl«, as well as in »Die lustige Witwe« at the Marguerre-Saal. She has also worked as a choreographer in Heidelberg, overseeing the productions »Frau Luna« and »Il barbiere di Siviglia« for the Heidelberger Schlossfestspiele, as well as »Eugen Onegin« (directed by Sonja Trebes) and »Die Zeit fährt Auto« (directed by Holger Schultze).
At the Capitol Theater Mannheim, she played the role of Mistress in »Evita« and the role of Anne Dindon in »La Cage aux Folles«, also working as a cover.
At the Thuner Seefestspiele in Switzerland, she performed in 2008 as a Shark woman in the ensemble of »West Side Story«. Further engagements followed at Musiktheater Linz (»Singin’ in the Rain«) and at Oper Graz (»Funny Girl«).
After achieving great success with Bernstein’s »West Side Story« at the Bad Hersfelder Festspiele, she took on the choreography for the children's musical »Emil und die Detektive« there in the summer of 2019.
In the 2021/22 season, she worked as choreographic assistant for »Singin’ in the Rain« at Theater Osnabrück and was subsequently invited to choreograph the musical »Titanic«. In 2024, she choreographed the summer operetta »Ein Walzertraum« in Neustrelitz and the children's musical »Anouk«, set to the music of Peter Maffay. At the beginning of 2025, her choreography for »Wie im Himmel« premiered at Theater Osnabrück.
