Sabrina Stein

Sabrina Stein studied musical theater at the Bird College of Theatre Arts and Dance in London and dance at the Alvin Ailey Dance School in New York.
In her home country she was seen in the ensemble and as Dance Captain at the Nationaltheater Mannheim in the plays »Crazy For You«, »Anything goes« and in »My Fair Lady« as well as at the Theater Heidelberg in »Rocky Horror Picture Show«, »Die Lustige Witwe« and most recently at the Schlossfestspiele Heidelberg summer 2021 & 2022 in »Im weißen Rössl«. She took on the role of Mistress in Evita and a cover position on the role of Anne in »La Cage aux Folles« at the Capitol Theater Mannheim.
Internationally, she appeared, among other roles, as Shark Frau in the ensemble of »West Side Story« at the Thun Lake Festival in Switzerland in the summer of 2008.
Engagements at the Musiktheater Linz, with »Singin' in the rain«, the Musical Sommer Fulda with »Der Medicus«, and »2 hoffnungslos verdorbene Schurken« at the Theater Heilbronn followed.
She took over the deputy choreographic familiarization for Danny Costello at the end of 2015 for »Funny Girl« at the Opera Graz under the direction of Stefan Huber, in which she had already been on stage in the ensemble the years before in the houses Dortmund, Nuremberg and Chemnitz.
With the »West Side Story«, directed by Matthias Davids, she was allowed to be part of the Bad Hersfeld Festival for three summers. In 2019, she returned for »Funny Girl,« where she took on the choreography for the children's musical »Emil and the Detectives« in addition to acting choreographic induction.
At the beginning of 2022 she went to the Theater Osnabrück for the choreographic assistance of »Singin' in the Rain«, in order to take over the choreography for the musical »Titanic« in the following season, directed by Ansgar Weigner.
For the Theater Heidelberg/Heidelberger Schlossfestspiele she already choreographed for »Frau Luna« and »Barbiere di Siviglia«. In the current season she is engaged as choreographer for »Eugen Onegin«.
