Esra Schreier

Esra Schreier was born in 1993 in Berlin-Pankow and grew up in Schwerin. At Mecklenburgisches Staatstheater Schwerin she appeared in »Die Katze auf dem heißen Blechdach« (2004) and in »Das Fest« (2007). In 2013 she began studying philosophy and history at the University of Rostock and in 2014 moved to Berlin to Hochschule für Schauspielkunt Ernst Busch. In 2016, she appeared under the direction of Peter Kleinert in the studio production of »Dantons Tod« as Robespierre at Schaubühne Berlin and as a guest at the Théâtre National de Bretagne in Rennes. In 2018 she performed in »Woyzeck« directed by Jakub Gawlik at Theater unterm Dach (Berlin) and was seen in the production »Der geteilte Himmel« at Neues Theater Halle. From 2018/19 she belonged to the ensemble of Stadttheater Gießen and could be seen as Juliet in »Romeo and Juliet« or Nele in »Tyll«, among others. Esra Schreier has been part of the acting ensemble at the Theater und Orchester Heidelberg since the 2020/21 season.
