Ipča Ramanović

Ipča Ramanović studied singing at the Academy of Music in Novi Sad and at the Hochschule für Musik in Würzburg (class Leandra Overmann). He has won prizes at numerous international competitions. He received his first guest engagements at the opera houses in Bielefeld (with the title role in Millöcker's »Gasparone«), Würzburg and Freiburg, and at the Staatstheater Stuttgart he sang the lead role in the Turkish opera production »Gegen die Wand«. In 2010/11 he was a member of the opera studio of the Komische Oper Berlin, where he interpreted the roles of Masetto (»Don Giovanni«), Farfarello (»The Three Oranges«), Djuro (»Die rote Zora«) and Schaunard (»La bohème«), among others. In 2011 he sang the opening concert of the Julian Rachlin Festival in Dubrovnik with the Belgrader Philharmonie conducted by Zubin Mehta. He received further engagements at the Komische Oper Berlin and the Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse. Since the 2013/14 season he has been a member of the opera ensemble of the Theater und Orchester Heidelberg, where he sang with great success Guglielmo in »Così fan tutte«, Count Almaviva in »Le nozze di Figaro«, Papageno in »Die Zauberflöte«, Marcello (»La bohème«) as well as the Light Suitcase in the world premiere of »Hochwasser« by Johannes Harneit, directed by Peter Konwitschny. In the 2017/18 season he took on the title role in Mozart's »Don Giovanni«. He can currently be seen in Heidelberg in productions of »Rusalka«, »Madama Butterly« and »Les Contes d'Hoffmann«.
