Eugenia Leis

Eugenia Leis studied stage and costume design at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. Since then, she has worked as a costume assistant at the Bonn Theatre, the Vereinigte Städtische Bühnen Krefeld, Mönchengladbach, the Prinzregententheater in Munich, the University of Haifa in Haifa, Israel, and at the Nibelungen Festival in Worms. Leis was also responsible for the set design of numerous theatre and film projects. At the Staatstheater Mainz, she created the costume design for »Orestes« under Niklaus Helbling's direction and the stage and costume design for »Die Unverheiratete« under the direction of Jana Vetten. At Theater & Orchester Heidelberg, Eugenia Leis designed the set for the 2023 world premiere of »Pirsch« by Ivana Sokola, directed by Jana Vetten. In 2024, she designed the costumes for »Nora«, and in 2026 for »We Are Family«, both of which were directed by Jana Vetten. In 2024/25, Eugenia Leis also designed the set and costumes for »The Talented Mr Ripley«, based on the novel by Patricia Highsmith.
