Natalie Broschat

Natalie Broschat (*1987) studied German language and literature at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich and trained as a radio journalist. She also studied cultural criticism/journalism at the Theaterakademie August Everding in cooperation with the HFF Munich from 2015 to 2017. In January 2022, she completed the part-time course »Curating in the scenic arts« at the University of Salzburg. She gained insights into cultural and theatre practice at the 2016 Wiesbaden Biennale theater festival, in the independent dance and theatre scene in Munich, at »tanznetz.de«, and through internships at Konzert Theater Bern and Theater Basel. From 2019 until 2021 she worked as a dramaturge and production manager in the dance department at Theater Freiburg and then as a dramaturge at Theater Ulm for two seasons. There she collaborated with Jannik Graf, Jasper Brandis and Karin Drechsel in drama, as well as Reiner Feistel and Frank Fannar Pedersen in dance. In Ulm, she also implemented the audio description of two dance pieces for audiences with visual impairments. Since the beginning of the 2023/24 season, she is employed at Theater und Orchester Heidelberg as the dance dramaturge for Dance Theatre Heidelberg under the direction of Iván Pérez.
