Hendrik Richter

Hendrik Richter, born in Wanne-Eickel in 1971, studied at Westfälische Schauspielschule Bochum from 1997 to 2000. From 2000 to 2003 he was a permanent ensemble member at Theater Oberhausen. He was then permanently engaged at Theater Bonn until 2012, where he took part in numerous productions, including »Kaspar«, »The Cat on the Hot Tin Roof«, »The Great Gatsby« or » Death of a Salesman«, directed by Matthias Fontheim. In 2010 he received the Bonn theatre prize Thespis and the following year »Kaspar« was awarded best production at the NRW-Theatertreffen. In addition to theatre, he is also active in film and television and has his own cabaret programme. In the 2013/14 season he appeared in »Kasimir und Karoline« at Theater und Orchester Heidelberg, and since the 2014/15 season he has been a permanent ensemble member in Heidelberg. Important roles in Heidelberg included Mr John in »The Rats«, John Proctor in »Witch Hunt« and Alain Reille in »The God of Carnage«.
