Born in 1991 in Valence, France, Marc Galvez joined the Paris Conservatoire's contemporary course in 2006. After graduating in 2011, he started his professional career with the CCN – Ballet de Lorraine, where he collaborated with Gisèle Vienne, Mathilde Monnier, Maria LaRibot and Faustin Linyekula amongst others. In 2013, Marc joined Balletboyz in London and worked with different choreographers such as Javier De Frutos, Russell Maliphant or Christopher Wheeldon. There, he met Ivan Perez during the creation of »Young Men«, a meeting that later led him to Dance Theatre Heidelberg when the choreographer became its artistic director. Since 2018, Marc has been a company member, performing Ivan Perez’s work as well as creations by Astrid Boons, Renan Martins, Ioanna Paraskevopoulou and Melanie Lane. As of January 2025, while remaining a performer, Marc is also the company's assistant rehearsal director.
