Leonie Kolhoff

Leonie Kolhoff has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the Junges Theater Heidelberg since the 2025/26 season.

She was born in Berlin in 1995 and grew up there. She gained her first theatre experience at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, including in the productions »Gilagmesh Must Die!« (directed by Daniel Pfluger) and »Neuland« (directed by Martin G. Berger and Jonas Egloff), and as a member of the P14 youth club at the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz.

From 2017 to 2022, Leonie Kolhoff studied acting at the Hochschule der Künste Bern, completing her studies with a Master’s degree and her own project, »Sometimes I don´t know where the bullsh*t ends and the truth begins«.

During the 2019/20 season, she was part of the ensemble at the Theater St. Gallen as part of the acting studio programme, where she worked with Barbara-David Brüesch and Jonas Knecht, amongst others.

At the Bundeswettbewerb deutschsprachiger Schauspielschulen 2021, she and her fellow performers were awarded the Ensemble Prize for the production »Chalet – Oder über den Berg gehen« (directed by Ed. Hauswirth).

Leonie Kolhoff is also a recipient of the Armin Ziegler Foundation award and was a Cusanuswerk scholarship holder from 2019 to 2022.

Since the 2023/24 season, she has been working at the Junges Theater as a member of the ensemble and, in the meantime, as a guest performer.
