Nicole Averkamp

Nicole Averkamp, born in Coesfeld, completed her acting studies at Otto-Falckenberg-Schule in Munich. She played her first roles during her training at Münchner Kammerspiele. This was followed by permanent engagements at Theater Dortmund, Nationaltheater Mannheim, Theater Basel, Staatstheater Darmstadtand Theater Osnabrück. There she played, among others Lotte (»Groß und klein«), Chaja (»Ghetto«), Countess Geschwitz (»Lulu«), Elisabeth and Maria (»Maria Stuart«), Lady Torrance (»Orpheus steigt herab«), Ranjewskaja (»Der Kirschgarten«), Iphigenia (»Iphigenia on Tauris«), Arkadina (»The Seagull«), Veronique (»God of Carnage«), Magenta (»Rocky Horror Picture Show«), Clytemnestra (»Iphigenia«). She has worked with directors such as Marie Bues, Cornelia Crombholz, Annette Pullen, Claudia Bauer, Dieter Dorn, Christian Brey, Ulrich Matthes, Ingo Berk, Kay Voges, Holger Schultze, Markus Dietz, Victor Bodo, Michael Gruner, Jürgen Bosse and Moritz Schönecker. Nicole Averkamp is also a sought-after narrator for audio books and readings. She has been an ensemble member at Theater und Orchester Heidelberg since 2011/12.
