Lene Grösch

Lene Grösch studied dramaturgy at the HfMT »Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy« in Leipzig; at the same time, from 2006 to 2009, she served as a board member and on the artistic advisory board at Lofft.Leipzig, where she ran the workshop theatre. From 2009 to 2012, she was employed as a dramaturg at the Theater Ingolstadt and moved to the Oldenburgische Staatstheater in 2013. In 2010, Lene Grösch initiated the dg:möglichmacher working group within the Dramaturgische Gesellschaft, which is based on practice-oriented networking amongst young dramaturgs.

From 2014 to 2025, she worked in the drama department of Theater und Orchester Heidelberg, where she was responsible for international relations; she was Executive Dramaturg since 2018 and Head of Dramaturgy for Drama since 2024. Together with Holger Schultze, she took over the artistic direction of the newly launched Ibero-American festival ¡Adelante! in 2017. Since the 2025/26 season, Lene Grösch is Director of Drama at Staatstheater Nürnberg.
