Rachid Zinaladin

Rachid Zinaladin has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the Junges Theater Heidelberg since the 2023/24 season.

Rachid Zinaladin (رشيد زين الدين) was born on 1 January 1995 in Aleppo, Syria. He studied at the Faculty of Law there for two years before he was forced to leave his homeland in 2015 and move to Austria. In Austria, he began studying acting at the Mozarteum in Salzburg in 2019. During his studies, he appeared twice as a guest performer at the Landestheater Salzburg. There, he performed in »Blut an meinen Händen«, directed by Dide Baron, and »Manche mögen’s verschleiert«, directed by Michael Niavarani.

Rachid Zinaladin appeared at the Junges Theater Heidelberg in the two world premieres of Amela Madreiter’s »südpol.windstill« and »Hotel Lauter und die Unsichtbaren«. During the 2025/26 season, he appeared, amongst other roles, in the production »Die kleine Hexe«, directed by Yvonne Kespohl.
