Tabea Mewis was born in Nuremberg in 1996 and trained as an educator at Fachakademie für Sozialpädagogik in Nuremberg from 2013 to 2018, during which time she took part in the production »Der Held der westlichen Welt« (directed by Tobias Sosinka) at Stadttheater Fürth. In 2023, she completed her acting studies at Akademie für Darstellende Kunst Baden-Württemberg. Here she worked with Antje Siebers, Benedikt Haubrich, Nils Brück and Jenke Nordalm, among others. In 2023, she appeared at Schauspiel Stuttgart in »Picknick im Felde«, directed by Paul Auls. Tabea Mewis is a permanent member of the ensemble at Junges Theater Heidelberg since the season 2023/24.
