Crisis in Hollywood! Suddenly, performers don’t just have to play a part but they also have to speak! For silent film diva Lina Lamont this is a disaster, because Lina’s small voice will likely end her and her film partner Don Lockwood’s career. But Don and his best friend Cosmo have a plan: To replace Lina’s voice with that of Kathy, the showgirl Don has a crush on. When their fraud is discovered, people are scandalised. It's lucky that Don and Cosmo always know a song to put people in a good mood.

(Tap) dancing in the rain, Gene Kelly won the hearts of millions of cinemagoers in 1952. Turning this beloved film into an entertaining musical promises fast-paced choreographies, unforgettable melodies and big fun for old and young.

To accompany your visit to the performance on 22 November 2025, you can sample perfectly matched wines from the Adam Müller winery. The winemakers will accompany you during the tasting before the performance and during the interval; the wine tasting begins 90 minutes before the start of the performance in the Alter Saal.
This additional offer can be booked - exclusively in conjunction with the purchase of a theatre ticket - at a price of 18 euros directly at the theatre box office.
